Hello, lovelies! I hope you are all doing ok in our currently weird and not so wonderful world! Staying safe, keeping healthy, and dodging that nasty virus.
I have been busy in my lockdown. Not only have I been child wrangling, homeschooling, climbing walls, and ripping my hair out, but I've also been making some tutorial videos!
Firstly, I created a complete beginner's tutorial to learn to knit and popped it up in my Instagram highlights. Then I moved on to stage two of learning to knit by creating a flat hat knitting video for my Instagram stories. It was just to help people through the boredom of lockdown. But they grew quite popular and people asked for more. This made me decided to stop messing about on Instagram and become a YouTuber instead!
I jest of course, but I have now re-opened my YouTube account with pure intentions of adding tutorials, yarn reviews, studio vlogs, and possibly a monthly podcast. I'm also starting to film every design from concept (sketching) to publication, whether that's magazine publication of self-publication.
My first video went live today and it's all about making those pompoms nice, fat, and fluffy, with the help of a Clover pompom maker.
I am so excited to get started and I would really love you to all come on the journey with me.
If there is anything you would like to see from me, please pop it in the comments below and let me know. I'll add it to my list!
See you soon!
