Over the last few months, I have been working hard to get my old patterns re-released. The ones which were originally released into print magazines. It's a long process but I'm about halfway through.
The latest one to fix is Effervescence. This one had been previously released but I've worked through it once more to add a smaller size and seven larger sizes.
This beautiful summer top is knitted in the round from the bottom up. It has shaping through the ribbing to pull it in nicely for the waist, then an increase round to bring that stunning lace straight into the forefront. The top is later separated once the armholes are reached and the front and back are worked flat before being joined by kitchen stitch at the shoulders.
The slashed neck is slightly higher at the back to stop it from riding high and choking you. Plus that loving ribbed edge crosses over to create a cute finish.
Effervescence is the perfect top for summer and a satisfying knit. With a long tunic style and slashed neck, it's easy and comfortable to wear.
Knitted in DK on 4mm (US 6) needles, it comes in sizes to fit 30" up to 60" chest.
